Happy 4 months to our sweet little girl! It feels like I just posted about her 3 month update! Time is flying and we are having so much fun watching Emma grow. She is such a good baby...I guess we never realized how laid back and easy going she was until we put her in daycare. She is having so much fun with Ms. Dawn and Ms. Hilda and learning so much already!
Age: 4 months
Height: 23 3/4" (big jump from last visit!)
Weight: 12.2 lbs
Head Circumference: 15.5"
Milestones:
- Still in 0 - 3 months clothes and Size 1 diapers
- Still sleeping through the night and doing great with naps at daycare. They say she'll sleep anywhere!
- Rolled over from back to belly! Well, we have yet to witness this, but apparently she did it at daycare on April 25th! And she now has a sign over her crib that says "I roll over!"
- Blowing raspberries (the doctor told us this was more of a 6 month milestone) She's so advanced! Ha! ;)
- Took her first roadtrip to Atlanta! She was SUCH a good girl! Slept almost the entire way down and back...and we took about an hour pit stop each way to feed, change and eat lunch. We enjoyed the silence as we know we have many "Are we there yets" in our future! ;)
- Smiling and laughing at mommy and
daddy
- Blowing raspberries
- Playing on her new piano/gym.
They had this at daycare and she loves it so much, we bought one for

- Baby
First TV...awesome channel on Direct TV! We turn this on in the
mornings when we're getting ready for work/school so she's not
watching/listening to all the crap on the news. I know she doesn't
understand now, but still!
- Sitting
in her Mamas & Papas chair
- Playing
with Sophie the Giraffe and Pinky, her sock monkey/blanket thingy
- Grabbing
onto anything and everything (Including mommy's hair! Ouch!)
- Playing
with and eating her hands!
- Looking
at herself in the mirror
- "Standing"...she thinks
she's a big girl!
- Hearing mommy and daddy sing songs…even
if it's a commercial jingle :)
- Kicking her legs like she's riding a bike
Dislikes:
- Not too many dislikes these days! She is a happy, smiley baby!
The pictures I tried to take on her actual 4 month birthday didn't turn out like I wanted...so probably more to come this weekend!!
