One Month!

Happy 1 Month, little sweet pea!  Wow...time really does fly!  Motherhood is definitely the most challenging and rewarding thing that I have ever done.  I guess I never realized how selfish I was until now!  Before Emma, we didn't have pets...or even a plant!  We literally only had to worry about taking care of ourselves.  It's a lot of pressure to have someone be completely, 100% dependent on you...so it's definitely taking some getting used to!  But when I look at her precious little face, it makes everything worth it.  And I have to give major props to Jason.  I have NO idea how I would do this without him!  He is such a great daddy and the best partner I could ask for.  We make a great team!!  And we can already tell that Emma is daddy's little girl :)

Unofficial weight update (done by me getting on the scale by myself, then getting on holding Emma!)...8.1 lbs!!  She's come a long way from her birth weight of 5 lb, 5.5 oz!!
