...doesn't necessarily stay in Vegas! We celebrated Courtney and Caroline's bachelorette party in Sin City March 3rd - 6th...and I came back with a nasty upper respiratory virus (that I'm STILL trying to fight off)! Although I felt like crap and had a fever throughout the trip, I somehow managed to have a BLAST! I absolutely LOVE being with my girlfriends....especially since we're all spread out now! :( But it's so nice to know that we can just pick up right where we left off. On Thursday night, we ate dinner at Lavo (yummy Italian), then we headed to TAO. After buying one $14 drink, we decided to call it a night...we were exhausted from traveling and the time difference!
On Friday, Court, Em, Melissa Shiffman and I walked all over God's green earth (or so it felt like) - up and down the strip. We ate breakfast at the new Cosmopolitan hotel (gorgeous!!!!) Then we headed to the outlet malls for a little retail therapy. Friday was our "big" night out. We had dinner at Dos Caminos, then headed to XS Nightclub in the Encore. This place was amazing!! Half of the club was indoors and half was outdoors. They were playing all of my jams...I was definitely in my element! Needless to say, we had a little too much fun...and that's all I'll say about that! :)
Saturday was torture! Our room stayed in bed until 4:00 p.m. (if that tells you anything about the night before!) Then we headed down to the pool to have Court and Caroline's lingerie shower. Fun times! Saturday night we headed back to TAO, but for dinner this time. One of our waiters was actually the guy that Scott Disick shoved money in his mouth (remember that episode of the Kardashians????) He was the closest thing we spotted to a celebrity! Sad! Of course when I got back, I checked all of my celebrity gossip sites and saw that Kim K. was actually in Vegas the same weekend...along with Drake (and several other celebs)! Geez...Vegas is WAY too big! That night we went to the 11:30 Thunder from Down Under show. One word....HILARIOUS! Some of the "performers" were actually really good looking, but it was hilarious watching them do dance routines dressed up as cowboys, firemen, etc.! After the show, we called it a night!
What a weekend! I think I've definitely had my Vegas fix for quite some time!! I love my girls and I'm so glad we got to spend the long weekend together! Can't wait to celebrate Caroline's wedding in April and Courtney's in May!!
