What's In A Name?

Choosing a name for our little baby girl was so stressful!  I mean, your name is permanent, so we definitely felt the pressure of making this decision!  After searching online and reading every single name in a massive baby names book, we decided to go with our gut and select the first name we talked about.

Drumroll please.....

Baby girl Hand will be:

Emma Catherine Heironimus was my grandmother's name...but she always went by Catherine.  It was only recently that I found out her full name and I LOVED it.  As if this wasn't enough meaning...the true meaning of Emma is German for whole or universal and Catherine is Greek for pure.  It just seemed to fit!  No double names here...we'll just being calling her Emma (unless she's in trouble, of course!)  ;)

I can't believe little Emma will make her arrival in four months!  Time is flying...let the registering/shopping begin!!!

Little Emma - we love you so much already!  As I sit here and type this, you are doing gymnastics in my tummy and I can't stop smiling! :)
