Who in their right mind would ever think that I would sign up for a 1/2 marathon...and actually complete it?!?! Well, it happened!! My boss, Cheryl, talked Krinda and I into walking the Country Music 1/2 Marathon with Team HCA....one week before the race! (Who needs training?!?) I was so nervous the morning of the race, but it ended up being a great time! I have NEVER pushed myself so hard physically. I had no idea what I was capable of! We finished in 3 hours and 8 minutes....so we averaged about a 14.5 minute mile. I can't believe we kept up that pace throughout the entire race! We were passing a lot of the runners...we were the epitome of a mall/power walker! ;) I was so proud to cross that finish line....and now I've got the bling bling to prove it! Although I couldn't move for about two days, I definitely look forward to doing it again in the future!
