Early Christmas in Texas

Jason and I went to Texas last Thursday - Monday to visit my parents and celebrate an early Christmas. We had a great time! It was great to get away and just relax! We drove to Mexico one day...and of course had our favorite beer battered shrimp one night for dinner. I think I gained 10 pounds while I was there, but it was worth it!

Here is a picture of Jason and me in front of my parents' tree. I am wearing a new sweater and jeans from Kohl's! I just discovered that store while we were in Texas (on a search for tacky Christmas sweaters!) I never think to shop there, but they have the cutest stuff...for cheap! I will definitely have to add Kohl's to my shopping list when I need a quick affordable outfit. 8 days 'til Christmas!
